Context
A VP of Sales serving B2B SaaS companies, at roughly 7,000 followers. He wanted to build a community on LinkedIn and establish himself as an authoritative figure in his niche.
The problem
His content had no clear point of view. Posts leaned on technical, insider-facing language that couldn't connect with prospects or peers.
What I did and why
I rebuilt the content around a consistent point of view instead of technical explainers. Turning his knowledge (deal cycles, pipeline health, what actually breaks a B2B SaaS sales team) into opinions a wider audience of leaders could resonate with.
Alongside publishing, I made engagement its own workstream, replying within the first hour and showing up in the comments of the accounts he wanted watching him, since visibility compounds faster through conversation.
Outcome
- Total followers: ~7,000 to 15,815 over 12 months
- Total follower growth up 123.8% versus the prior 12-month period
